Senior Compliance Manager, RiskScout
Ryan McInerny spent his career as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of The Comptroller of The Currency (OCC) prior to joining RiskScout as their senior compliance manager. At the OCC he was a member of the agency’s LEAD initiative, a mentor, and undertook complex examinations spanning a variety of risk areas and business lines. Ryan is a former member of the OCC’s northeast district committees for compliance and commercial credit, where he helped to identify changing industry trends and risk conditions.
Ryan is an advocate of continual learning and is recognized as a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM). To stay apprised of the newest ways to optimize banking practices Ryan earned his Master of Science in Business Analytics through the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and Darden School of Business. Ryan is a Boston resident and enjoys volunteering as a snowboard instructor, hiking New Hampshire’s 48 4000 footers, and various types of endurance racing.
