Meet the Team: Brian Nowak

RiskScout is a culmination of former bankers, regulators, and industry experts that have joined together to help community financial institutions unlock complex markets, and we're excited to have added a new member to the pack: Brian Nowak.

Brian Nowak spent over a decade in regulatory compliance and internal audit roles, working as a safety and soundness examiner for the Federal Reserve System as well as holding senior executive positions at prestigious accounting firms.

During his tenure at the Federal Reserve, he oversaw all aspects of examinations for both small and multi-billion-dollar financial institutions and bank holding companies. His specialties include evaluating various areas such as risk management practices, asset quality, earnings performance, interest rate risk management products, liquidity, internal controls, and management information systems.

In his new role at RiskScout, Brian will apply his expertise to support the company’s mission of analyzing and assisting financial institutions conducting business in high-risk industries like cannabis and cryptocurrency.
